womenintechnology.co.uk is an on-line job board, networking and events group for women working in the IT profession in the UK. We organise regular networking events which we believe play a vital part in attracting (and retaining) women in the IT profession. These range from formal debates with guest speakers and interactive audience discussion to informal drinks evenings where people can get together in a non-work environment. Event topics are mostly career orientated and previous events have included “Flexible Working in Technology”, “Mentoring for Success”, “Positive Impact and Influencing Tools”, “Powerful Conversations – Successful Negotiation Skills for Women” and “Raise Your Profile for a Successful Career in IT”.
