About TiE

The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) is a non profit network committed to promoting entrepreneurship globally through mentoring, networking and educating.

Founded in 1992 by a group of successful entrepreneurs in Silicon Valley, corporate executives, and senior professionals with roots in the Indus Region, TiE today has over 12,000 members with 47 Chapters in 11 countries. TiE UK was founded in 2000 and has since grown to become the third largest chapter globally, with over 135 charter members.

Set on the path of creating wealth and giving back to the community, TiE’s goal is to generate and nurture the next generation of entrepreneurs. To this end, the organisation has created programmes to energise and inspire entrepreneurs, the flagship event being TiECon, the largest conference of entrepreneurs worldwide.

The one constant propelling TiE has been its philosophical framework. It has kept the vision and decisions of TiE’s leadership glued to its basic beliefs of wealth creation and giving back to society, and that an open, inclusive and forward-looking organisation is the right vehicle to deliver the goods.
