Looking for a good bookkeeper

I’ve just lost my bookkeeper so I’m looking for a new one. Anyone got any ideas?

I need 1/2 a day a fortnight, just basic invoicing and management accounts (not payroll). They don’t need to be able to sign off the accounts at the year end - I already have guys for that. I’m just looking for the day to day really.

Ideally it’d be a small outfit who has some experience of charities and companies (we’re a charity who owns a holding company). They also need to be able to get to Aldgate (London) pretty easily.

    I will have a look at these. Planning to make a decision by Christmas with a view to the new guys starting in April.

    Hi Henry,

    I have just noticed your posting and wondered if we could be of any help.

    We provide bookkeeping services for varying clients, large and small, nationwide.

    It doesnt matter where are base is as general we communicate though telephone, email, fax and even snail mail! All the paperwork either comes to us directly or you forward it on.

    yup still weighing up my options at the moment. Have a few candidates now (thank you everyone!)Do you have someone in mind? Oh yes and we are a small business (well a charity actually - but most of money comes through social enterprises).
