Helping a 17-year old Entrepreneur

(Posted by: Benjamin Hawkes)

I left school at the age of 16 to create a work experience resource, www.myworkexp.com. What inspired me was that it could be commercially self-beneficial, whilst also helping the employment, economy and work experience situation of the UK.

I am now 17, and the business has proceeded smoothly since going live in late March 2007.

What we are looking to do now is add more companies to the resource.

Please offer any advice you may have, or forward this free service to any who may be interested, to help a budding young entrepreneur!

Please e-mail details of this business to your business contacts, and if you have many resources that could be of use here, feel free to contact be personally at ben@myworkexp.com.

Many thanks, Benjamin, www.myworkexp.com.

Well done Ben this a great product. I can think of a number of schools who I work with who could definitely benefit from the service. I would suggest getting in touch with some of the Connexions who work with schools to develop their work experience programmes.

    Good luck with this.

Ben. You should have a look at Business in the Community. They may be able to help you.
