    OBN is the premier network for biotechnology and healthcare in the South East of England region, a centre for economic activity in the sector. In Oxfordshire alone there are nearly 200 organisations (companies and institutes) engaged in biotechnology and healthcare, with hundreds more located in the SEEDA region, including several big pharma facilities belonging to GSK, Pfizer, Sanofi/Aventis, Merck, Novartis, and Bayer. 53% of our BioTuesday delegates come from Oxfordshire, 64% from the South-East of England region (SEEDA), with 47% coming from outside Oxfordshire, and 36% from outside of the SEEDA region. For practical purposes, the (SEEDA ) region is the South-East of the UK excluding London and Cambridge. Our scope is to generate high quality networking opportunities for Biotech and Healthcare companies across the entire South East, focussing delivery on Oxfordshire, and we also have delivered several events in London and Berkshire. Our message is heard: over 2,500 subscribe to our Vector Events newsletter including over 90 CEOs, nearly 100 Directors and 80 MDs.
