The idea is that within a few minutes of talking to someone you will be able to work out whether it is possible to do business with them. This makes it a very efficient form of business networking. We provide other speed networking services throughout the UK including speed recruiting and office speed networking.

    Making Music is an umbrella organisation for amateur and voluntary music groups of all kinds. From orchestras to brass bands, choirs to steel pan groups, we represent over 2500 groups around the UK. As well as offering support and services to members we also work to promote voluntary music making at all levels. In the North East, Making Music runs a range of events for members and non-members, including ‘surgeries’, cluster groups and training workshops on a wide variety of subjects.

Open to all levels of experience and understanding of music. We particularly welcome non-musicians who would like to extend music activities into their field of work, i.e. Early Years Practitioners, Youth Workers and so on.

The membership of nearly 300 companies consists of a close knit group of people with similar views and objectives.
