Forward Ladies is an informal business support network for women. The network has grown from just five ladies to almost 3,000 members. Last year we organised over 60 events, attended by around 4,000 businesswomen. It is an all inclusive network offering networking, coaching, training, business support and international trade missions.

The aim of the IoD Yorkshire Young Directors’ Forum to provide opportunities for emerging leaders in the area to develop their professional skills. The Forum is for tomorrow’s leaders from across all sectors, whether business, public and social. The Yorkshire Young Directors’ Forum is run by a team of dedicated volunteers. The team’s experience comprises entrepreneurs, directors of small and medium sized businesses, FTSE 100 companies and the public sector. It has over 240 members companies within television, film, radio, press and publishing, new media, graphic design, PR, advertising and marketing. The student entrepreneurs society at Leeds Uni - Members include students with an interest in business and start-ups, those who have an idea for businesses, but are not sure what to do next, and students running businesses whilst at university. Through the support of Leeds City Council the Leeds LEGI (Local Enterprise Growth Initiative) aims to grow business and entrepreneurship in some of the most deprived areas of Leeds. From a fund of £15 million over the next three years a programme of events, business centres and loans and grants will be introduced in support of businesses from deprived areas and ethnic minority communities.

Networking Direct is a networking company offering a mix of traditional and new style networking services. The companies reputation is impeccable and is growing steadily throughout the Leeds area.
