    MOVIEBAR is a monthly event for aspiring and professional filmmakers in Brighton and Hove. Whether you’re a producer, director, actor, screenwriter, editor, composer, sound designer, DOP, casting agents, technician, animator, gaffer or student, you’re welcome at MOVIEBAR. You don’t have to have a movie in the pipeline to come to MOVIEBAR – everyone is welcome. We’ll get you involved in the most exciting film community in the country and no matter what level you’re at, you’ll be among like-minds. As well as that, MOVIEBAR is the perfect film buff’s night out. Talk shop all night, take in some new movies and take part in the infamous quiz. There’ll be a nice prize too. MOVIEBAR is held once a month at The Cornerstone Pub, 2-6 Elm Grove, Brighton, East Sussex, BN2 3DD. A full bar is stocked and ready to go, plus top-notch food will be available.

Due to the convergent forms of media, marketing and technology coming together. It makes sense for any to leverage and optimise the best way to market, self promote, network, collaborate both on and offline.     Making Music is an umbrella organisation for amateur and voluntary music groups of all kinds. From orchestras to brass bands, choirs to steel pan groups, we represent over 2500 groups around the UK. As well as offering support and services to members we also work to promote voluntary music making at all levels. In the North East, Making Music runs a range of events for members and non-members, including ‘surgeries’, cluster groups and training workshops on a wide variety of subjects.
