Merton Green Drinks is for anyone interested in environmental issues or studying them. The idea is to meet for fun, contacts, alcohol, info, gossip, inspiration, business and pleasure. If you are new, just go up to someone and say “are you green?” and you’ll be made welcome.

Somerset Green Drinks is a monthly social event organised by writer/broadcaster on sustainable living and creator of National Downshifting Week, Tracey Smith. It’s for anyone in the area interested in green issues or caring for their local and global environment and particularly if you work in the eco-friendly sector too! It’s a great way to catch up with friends, thrash out new ideas, or just chill out with people who share your values. It takes place on the 3rd Thursday of every month and starts at 7.30pm at The Gallery, 6A Holyrood Street, Chard, Somerset. Do drop me a line if you’d like any further details - it would be lovely to meet you at the next Somerset Green Drinks. If you live in another area in the UK, do check out the main Green Drinks website for info on your local group. Click the link above to go straight there. Cheers!
