    The Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning (CfEL) delivers a range of educational activities on the practise of Entrepreneurship, to inspire and build skills and ‘spread the spirit of enterprise’ within the University of Cambridge and beyond … CfEL runs Enterprise Tuesday events which aim to introduce participants to the world of business, as well as to encourage and inspire individuals to pursue their entrepreneurial ambition. Enterprise Tuesday is a free evening programme open to all Cambridge University staff and students, other universities and members of the local high tech business community, and is specifically designed and targeted at those who: * want to learn about how to transform an idea into business * want to find out if entrepreneurship is for you * want to acquire some of the vocabulary of business and how businesses think about ideas * learn how to protect your intellectual property in the early stages of venturing * learn some practical business skills

  • Schools' Enterprise Education Network (S'EEN)

    The Schools’ Enterprise Education Network is an all secondary school network for enterprise education in England. The network comprises 51 enterprise hub areas, creating 300 network learning communities with 300 funded schools to create 51 specialist enterprise hub schools, with 250 enterprise spokes schools, 51 special schools, 8 Academies, and 11 national enterprise specialism hub schools. The 51 enterprise hub schools are specialist business and enterprise colleges. All schools funded in the network provide high quality free enterprise CPD programmes, resources, coaching and mentoring, and personalised support for all teachers and school leaders in all secondary schools in England. The purpose of the network is to support every secondary school, special school, Academy and Trust school to embed an enterprise culture so that every young person can develop their enterprise skills, capabilities and attitudes to become successful in learning and in life. The network if funded by the DCSF as part of a £470m investment into secondary schools for enterprise education between 2005 and 2011. Through developing enterprising learning, teaching and leadership in schools, all staff and student can thrive in an enterprising culture.
