Through the web (incl. facebook.com) and through events, all can benefit - whether that may be social or business purposes, promote your business/product/services aimed at the Muslim consumer market, promote your voluntary initiatives/community projects, raise money for charity, and more… EmeraldNetwork has no political agenda, nor any affiliation to any other group or organisation, this makes us possibly the leading body in the UK with such a unique underlying set of principles and objectives - an open door policy, “1 Faith, 0 Boundaries”. In essense, all are welcome, irrespective of our geographical origin, cultural/ethnic background, professional sector. Events are held primarily in London, Birmingham and Manchester.

  • The Prince's Trust Mentor Network

    The Prince’s Trust has a network of 150+ business people, Solicitors, Accountants and other professionals. The Prince’s Trust itself gives advice and funding to young entrepreneurs who are starting up their own business. The mentors, along with the dedicated qualified business team, then give the 140 businesses we start every financial year the support and encouragement they need to survive and flourish with their business. As the Programme Manager I am able to contact all 150+ mentors and over 400 businesses we have on our books in Birmingham and Solihull to ask them for advice and also any guidance anyone needs with regard to any business idea they may have.     Network 2012 is a social enterprise with a social inclusion agenda. It was set up to facilitate and encourage the growth of social enterprise and to provide bursaries through membership fees for start up social enterprises. A large proportion of these bursaries will go towards start up social enterprises from traditionally disadvantaged groups within our society as a way of harnessing All of our creative and entrepreneurial talent. This is the purpose of this site and it is our hope that by becoming a member you will not only be contributing to your own business and personal growth but to the enhanced growth of social enterprise itself through our proposed bursaries. As individuals we have a history of working in the homeless sector for various charities and we understand full well the frustrations for charities repeatedly going cap in hand to various different funding bodies in order to continue their vital work. These frustrations have been our original motivating factors and one of the reasons Network2012 has come about. How much better would it be for charities if they could sustain themselves through their own business endeavours with the profits contributing to the services they provide? The vision of Network …

  • Trying to Help Orphans Worldwide!

    What will I be trekking? K2 Mountain is placed on the Pakistan - China border in the mighty Karakoram Range • 2nd Highest in the World after Everest • 28,250 Feet • 8,611 Metres • 5.35 Miles • Karakorams Mountain • 246 climbers have summited K2 by 10 different routes only 5 of which have ever been repeated. • At least 55 climbers have died attempting K2, some caught in avalanches low on the mountain, others dying from exposure while returning from the summit. (I will fund this trip out my own personal expenses, that way all donations will go to the orphans) I will be trekking to the base camp of K2, which is about 18,000 ft above sea level. Join me please, it will be fun! Where will my donation go? All money raised will go to the Orphans General Fund. The fund helps projects that benefit groups of orphans and their families. These include: Education Medical care Shelter Income generation (small business loans, livestock,etc) Courses in language, literacy, cooking, sewing, etc Fun outings and festive gifts Summer camps School Equipment Food baskets

From excluded teenages to emerging film directors, we offer excellence and innovation in education and career development for people with stories to tell. We give young people facing disadvantage the technical and professional skills to turn their ideas into marketable products, communicate about the issues that matter to them and introduce them to industry professionals and vocational opportunities. We offer coaching and memtoring and provide media production services and equipment for the third sector. Our ground-breaking online monitoring and tracking tool, www.ontrack.net.uk provides an online community, marketing and online learning resources for the independent training sector.
