    One of the fastest growing networking groups in the east midlands ! The club, which started in February 2007, has steadily increased in numbers to approximately 50 attendees in June 2007, making it one of the fastest growing clubs in the county. Meetings start at 7.30am and include a hearty English, vegetarian or Continental breakfast, a speaker and social time although members can often be found networking from as early as 7.00am. We usually meet on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at the Quality Hotel, Derby Road, Ashbourne but dates sometimes vary so please check the diary for up to date information. Ashbourne Business Club has been developed by local business owners Tim Polkinghorne of Nirvana Coaching and Julia Chisholm of JCC Personnel Consultancy to give businesses an avenue in which they can meet other like minded people forging friendships and increasing their businesses.

We need to make people more aware of the consequences of their behaviour and are currently talking to Local Authorities and Schools to introduce our sponsored events to younger children. We need to reach like-minded people who would also like to try and make some changes to our society. Random acts of kindess seem to be very few and far between. All it takes is a smile, some words of encouragement, a few minutes out of our day to make sure someone is OK.

BmB runs monthly meetings to which guest speakers are invited, with networking being a main benefit to many members and visitors. You do not have to join BmB to enjoy the events; as long as you are involved in business, you are very welcome.
