This one day course explores what can be achieved when using the arts with vulnerable and disadvantaged young people. Starting with a detailed explanation of the benefits of youth arts this session will cover many of the practical issues involved in using the arts with young people at risk, including current CRB child protection legislation. Using a mixture of training techniques to help educate and inform, this course will take you all the way through project planning to project closure.
All participants will receive a certificate of attendance upon successful completion of the course and a wealth of practical resources. Prices which include lunch and refreshments, range from £150 to £110, with bursaries available.
