Andrew Ferdinando decided to have a crack at running his own business after 6 years in corporate life. Not content with just one business, he currently has 2 ventures on the go.

  • What makes your network different or special?

    We are a nich network catering for young professionals in their 20s and 30s who live in London.

  • Why did you start up your network?

    We felt there was a gap in the market. MySpace is targetted at teenagers, Ecademy and LinkedIn target business people. We felt there wasn’t a solution in between catering for 20 and 30 yr olds living and working in London.

  • What are your top tips for hosting a great networking event?

    Don’t have a massively detailed agenda and get a good number of people (between 25-50 is around perfect).

  • What are your best networking links / resources?

    Ecademy, LinkedIn, WebWednesdays

  • What is the best connection you have made or received?

    I have 2 business ventures with 3 business partners. All 3 people, I have met through social networking websites.
