Elaine Budd started her own business at 24, a e-business company working with a profile of local, national and international clients, and is now the project manager for Plymouth Business Growth. A key part of this role is developing a programme of activity to help raise levels of entrepreneurship in the city of Plymouth. She describes herself as a catalyst and a glue until momentum is created and states that she is constantly impressed by the levels of commitment and talent in the city and the support behind the initiative ‘Making Plymouth Great’.

    The Plymouth Business Growth partnership comprises key private and public sector organisations involved in providing, promoting and supporting enterprise. The partnership with the local newspaper, The Herald has been particularly key as it has enabled us to communicating our message to the city.

    Doing what you say you are going to do to demonstrate the benefit of partnerships and making things happen!
