  • Why do you think networking is important?

    Networking is a powerful way to build relationships, actively foster contacts and disseminate information. I know of no one who has been able to succeed in life without a little bit of help from someone else. Why try and re-invent the wheel when you can seek out advice from someone more experienced?

  • what is the best connection you have made?

    Recently there have been so many! But, the best connection has got to be my co-founder, Kay Vasey.

  • What are your top tips for effective networking?

    The beauty of networking and making contacts is you never know where the next one will come from. The key is to be constantly alert to new possibilities. Take the opportunity to help others. That way when the opportunity arises, they will be more likely to go out of their way to help you.

  • What tools or resources do you use to keep in touch with people?

    Mesh uses a variety of tools to keep in touch with its members. At the core of this is the belief in meeting online and then strengthening ties by meeting offline. Our website facilitates online networking through profile searching and matching members with similar creative second lives. We also organise Mesh events for members to meet offline.
