Q&A
  • Why is getting connected important to make things happen?

Your best work and your best ideas always come when you can draw on other people’s knowledge, networks and expertise. Getting another perspective can help you see things you missed completely the first time round. Networks also make you searchable for others: people have to know you exist in the first place if they’re going to find you.

  • What is the best connection you have made or received?

The best connections are always the random ones – at an event, through a blog posting, via a friend or colleague. Most of the new projects that we win at Demos come from an off-hand conversation.

  • What are your top tips for making great connections?

Face to face meetings matter for lasting relationships

  • What tools or resources do you use to keep in touch with people?

By email, or the Demos blog.
