  • What are your tips on being an effective networker?

    To be an effective networker you need to believe that you have something to give to others: your knowledge, experience or enthusiasm. By offering help to others and being able to listen really well, people will want to get to know you.

  • What are you tips on hosting a good networking event?

    If you want to host a good networking event it does not matter if you have a plush venue or a dingy hall, the difference is how you welcome people, make them feel comfortable and your enthusiasm. So pay attention to these things and look out for new people who may be nervous and be supportive to them, and it will be great!

  • What is your best advice to a young entrepreneur?

    A young entrepreneur is the same as an older entrepreneur: hopefully a person with a good idea, passion and enthusiasm who perhaps needs to build confidence and gain knowledge. My advice is to make sure you are passionate about your service or product otherwise when the going gets tough you are likely to give up. Also make sure you idea is profitable by writing a short plan and remember to do the numbers!
