I am currently studying on the BBA Management degree, in my 2nd year at Lancaster University. I am currently one of two joint presidents of the Lancaster University Young Entrepreneur’s Society and have also started a business at the university. I am from India and have lived my whole life in India but have travelled the world over because of sports, chess and hobbies. Most recently, i decided to study abroad and chose lancaster in the UK.

  • Why do you think networking is important?

    Networking helps people get to know those that can help them, and also takehelp. This helps people grow faster in the world. Connections can often get ou things faster than the usual routes!

  • What is the best connection you have made or received?

    I would say that the day is yet to come. I value all my connections at same level.

  • What are your top tips for hosting a great networking event?

    Reach out to people - dont be shy and expect people to come and talk. Be proactive and talk to people as this helps your confidence and also helps you grow your network.

  • What tools or resources do you use to keep in touch with people?

    Email and mobile phone are the best way
